ETM’s Resident Electrician reviews Bosch’s New Wireless Charging Kit

When using a cordless drill as an electrician the main thing I'm looking for is torque. I want to be able to drill through brick, instead going through the pain of changing over half way through a job to a more trusty corded drill. That's not the case with Bosch wireless drill as it has the torque to do everything required, of course depending on you using a decent masonry drill bit.

The Bosch wireless drill comes with 2 Lithium 2 amp per hour batteries, allowing for versatility in jobs, as well, the use of 2 Lithium batteries means you won't have to stop mid way through a job to charge your drill. The motor feels smooth and well made when you press the switch and has a real kick. There are plenty of speeds and options to go at, including hammer function which is obviously essential for most jobs. The drill is light and ergonomically perfect when drilling, its short size means it can fit easily in between joists etc. The chuck is well made and remains tight even after heavy use. I'm pretty impressed by the wireless charging facility, which looks slick and removes the fear of breaking the charge points after repeated use, which I have recently done on my old drill.

Really impressed with this professional grade cordless drill, and it's a pleasure to use. The Bosch wireless drill would be a massive benefit to anyone using power tools on a daily basis.
