New flexible spotlights from LEDVANCE adjust to changing store layouts
LEDVANCE is bringing new flexibility to retail lighting with versatile spotlights that can be adapted on the spot as store layouts are changed. Spot Vario can be adjusted as a recessed spotlight or wall washer and Spot Multi can be rotated in any direction. Recessed spotlights for accent lighting and general illumination The new Spot Vario from LEDVANCE provides the ultimate flexibility in retail lighting installations. This highly versatile recessed spotlight can be used as a classic downlight with the luminaire head fully recessed. With the luminaire head extended it can be used as a wall washer. As a result, retailers are able to reconfigure their installation according to need, using accent or general lighting to illuminate temporary displays and promotions to best effect. Spot Vario is easy to install because it is connected to an external driver with a bayonet connection. The luminaire and the ECG can therefore be easily separated to allow DALI or DIM devices to be connected. The aluminium reflectors with their black ring provide excellent anti-glare properties (UGR<16). Also new is the Spot Multi, a versatile cassette spotlight that has cardan joints for the luminaire heads so they can be adjusted in any direction to provide a high degree of flexibility in illuminating a room whenever the layouts are changed. This is an important consideration for fashion boutiques, for example, where a single luminaire has to provide both basic illumination and flexible accent lighting. With its broad portfolio of LED retrofits LEDVANCE offers excellent options for existing luminaires. The new AR111 reflector lamps and the PAR16 and MR16 lamps in high and low-voltage versions have excellent colour rendering (CRI 97), making them perfect replacements for halogen lamps. The same applies to the LED lamps in Classic A, Classic B and Classic P designs (CRI 95). With the exception of AR111, all the lamp bulbs are made of glass. Flexible trunking system for fast installation
Consisting of mounting rails and flat linear lighting inserts, the new flexible trunking system TruSys offers homogeneous and energy-saving lighting for large areas. The lighting inserts can be easily clicked into place either as a continuous or intermittent lighting strip and mounted on the ceiling surface or suspended. The TruSys family of products from LEDVANCE can be installed in rows of up to 81 luminaries, achieving an overall length of 124metres, making them ideal for large industrial spaces. The exclusive “Scale” luminaire design is also used for the TruSys family with its high-quality and lightweight anodized aluminum housing. The mounting brackets are recessed in the rails and therefore almost invisible from the outside which adds to TruSys’ clean appearance, and internal holders keep the luminaire in place whilst being mounted. With a luminous efficacy of 135 lumen per watt, they are very energy-efficient. TruSys offers four different lenses: the wide-beam lens has a homogenous light distribution for uniform wide-area illumination in rooms with low ceilings – for example in workshops and factories. The narrow-beam lens offers the ideal lighting in areas with high ceilings, which is needed in high-bay warehouses. The double asymmetric lens version has bidirectional light distribution and is ideal for illuminating two shelves; and the wallwasher version offers single directional light distribution for highlighting single shelves or walls. The selection of the right lighting solution for each area within industrial applications helps to boost concentration, eliminate errors and improve efficiency. All versions of the TruSys family are available in warm white, cool white or daylight colour temperatures to help create the ideal working conditions. LEDVANCE presents efficient, low maintenance luminaires at Elex
LEDVANCE is bringing its range of efficient, low maintenance LED lighting products to Elex including vandalism-resistant surface luminaires and its damp proof compact LED tube lights. LEDVANCE experts are available throughout the event to help visitors identify the right solution from the thousands of LED lighting products offered by LEDVANCE. Compact, vandalism resistant luminaires With a thickness of only 61 mm, a very flat design is also a feature of the Surface Compact IK10 which will be on the LEDVANCE stand at Elex. At IK10 it offers the highest possible impact resistance and is also protected against theft and vandalism. In addition, the luminaire passes the glow wire test at 850°C, is sealed for life and can be used in damp locations thanks to its IP65 type of protection. In view of its robustness it is ideal, for example, for stairwells and public buildings. At 4,000K it delivers up to 1,920 lumens, and up to 1,800 lumens at 3,000K. Its rated life is up to 50,000 hours, and LEDVANCE offers a five-year guarantee on the Surface Compact IK10. New Damp Proof Compact luminaire Ideally suited for commercial halls and production warehouses, the design of the Damp Proof Compact luminaries focuses on three key needs of professional users: simple installation, excellent efficiency and long nominal service live. Thanks to retaining brackets that can be freely moved along the entire length of the lights, the luminaires can be easily and very flexibly installed. As a result, luminaires that use traditional, energy-inefficient lighting technology can be quickly replaced. The electrical installation for the luminaire Damp Proof Compact can even be done without tools. The electric block is easy to reach with the help of a twist and lock mechanism and the electric connection with a convenient spring clamp terminal block. The luminaire comes with wiring already preassembled, and only the connections on each side are involved in the installation process. The Damp Proof Compact is very efficient with up to 120 lumens per watt. In addition, its form and the surface structure within the luminous element create a large beam angle of 120° with homogeneous light distribution. This, in turn, produces indirect lighting that pleasantly accentuates a room’s ceiling. With an IP66 type of protection and an IK08 impact resistance, this model is capable of withstanding tough tests and is protected by anti-theft clamps. The luminaires have a nominal service life of up to 50,000 hours and are covered by a five-year LEDVANCE warranty.
